Eight teams each playing 5 games of 4 ends resulted in a win for David and his team before club put away their bowls to enjoy another very successful annual supper party of good food good wine and good entertainment.

STOKENHAM RETAIN THE SUMMER SERIES V SLAPTON
CHALLANGE TROPHY
At the end of a very successful and enjoyable summer season of friendly matches the club capped it all by winning the last match of four against Slapton to retain the trophy.
THE 18TH ANNUAL DINNER & PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES
Thirtyone members and friends celebrated at the club’s Annual Dinner and presentation of trophies at Thurlestone Golf Club when Chairman John Cadman presided. Honours were awarded by founder member Mrs. Iris Perkins to the following: Singles trophy went to Tony Rogers with the runner up being Peter Sandell. Anne & David Sidwell won the pairs and Pat Lamble & Adrienne Blake with Tony Rogers the triples. The fours shield was won by Peter Sandell, Brenda Mattravers & Iris Perkins. The Devon Air Ambulance Charity Bowls Drive Snowball Prize this year went to Mike Whitney.
